Hello New York,
Our Where To Vibe Weekend Guide is one for the books, featuring 9 amazing events that scream diversity and social enrichment Friday through Sunday. 🎼🤩
NY1 is under fire after 5 anchorwomen filed lawsuits claiming the leadership team selected by their parent company tried to force them out of their positions in order to replace them with younger less experienced individuals. 🔥📰
French, Mexican, Chinese and more conquers the Deco food hall, adorned with 9 different vendor spaces, seating, and a fully equipped bar. 🌮🍻
Why so shy? NYC is full of the most eclectic and unpredictable voyagers, but our transit system is apparently refusing to acknowledge the carnal needs of the femme population. The female-focused sex toy company Dame is fighting back with a lawsuit against the MTA. 📡🍆

MTA Shades Sex Toys
Passion, empowerment, and acknowledgment are at a head in the case of Dame against the MTA. The female-focused sex toy company, producing a line that highlights the needs of women, are suing the MTA for their refusal to advertise their goods.
If one of the most liberated and diverse cities in the world turns their eyes away from the independent agency of female anatomy and it's pleasure, what message is this sending for today's sexual climate?
Hall of Cuisine and Art
There's no reason to eat one type of cuisine when you can experience a surplus under one roof at the new Deco venue. The 9 selections, from a sea of 160 applicants, guarantee that visitors are tasting the creme of the crop.
Some eateries included are the Brazilian Beach Bistro 96, Italian cuisine Mani in Pasta; a Filipino Gastropub; and alcoholic ice cream classic Tipsy Scoop.
NY1 Slapped with Lawsuit
In such trying times it seems freedom of speech is the only weapon against social injustice. If even the media is biased, where does that speech have free reign?
The parent company of NY1 is being accused of discrimination by 5 women, all seniors in their professional fields. The 5 women claim that their allotted airtime was restricted and anchoring slots reduced. The result was exclusion from promotional campaigns and an inability to voice their concerns.
Weekend Vibe Guide
This weekend's guide is ready and with things to do Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There's no reason to stay in. There are day festivals from Manhattan to Brooklyn featuring things to eat and explore or seductive shows to watch if you're interested in a night out!
Grab a ticket to a showing of the Queen of Hearts Burlesque or a front row view of the Mermaid Parade. The city is your oyster this weekend and we're showing you the pearls!

Hello New York,
Popular for pain, mood disorders, and a really bumping party, the herb has a lot of benefits across the board. The legalization of marijuana has been in the works for a while now, to the excitement of many users, including those suffering from lifelong criminal charges. Although Cuomo is pushing to legalize marijuana in NYC, a discord between lawmakers is threatening to end the idea altogether.
While running to a gig or your strict 9-5, lost in a sea of honking horns and shuffling feet, it’s a delight to look up and see art. Street art in busy and desolate parts of the city are a resilient touch of flare in an otherwise monotonous setting. We’ve mapped out 7 of the best murals you must see in the city, so grab your fancy shoes and get to explore like a real art expert!
If you had somewhere to go and needed to stock up on supplies to remake your face, transform your appearance and dazzle a crowd, Ricky’s was the place to haul at but not anymore. After a long run supporting the creative community with the items needed for looks both kinky as they are ethereal, for occasions during night and day, the iconic Ricky’s is giving its farewell.
It seems that graffiti adorned streets and buildings are driving real estate prices straight up, providing a sense of urban authenticity and edge previously deemed tasteless and criminal. The discord is also causing businesses to use the long-outlawed form of art to drive sales. With the newfound popularity of street art in the mainstream, artists and longtime supporter of locations like 5Pointz are wondering what the process of gentrification will do to the Graffiti.

Puff Puff Pause
The expungement of arrest records for those charged with marijuana possession (disproportionately affecting people of color) has been halted along with the legalization bill that’s currently bouncing back and forth between lawmakers.
Obstacles with legislative leaders in the senate and assembly are surrounding different issues such as the allocation of the tax money generated from marijuana sales.
Popular Shop Shutdown
Lashes, glue, glitter and much more were always in supply at Ricky’s, the famous costume and beauty shop. As one of the only stores in the city celebrating kink, self-expression, sex, and identity, we will all feel the loss once their last locations shut down.
Whether it be due to a decline in business or rising rents, it is clear that the retail business is losing the battle for many. The question is, where will we shop now?
Vandalism Made Posh
Vandalism of public property or stylish urban art? Society can’t decide and neither can the legal system. In recent years, graffiti artists have been compensated for cases in which brands have capitalized off of their pieces without permission, using the essence of unbridled art for clothing sales while condemning it as illegal in the next breath.
Where then does the work of graffiti artists belong, how much protection can artistic integrity warrant and in the cases where the law protects the rights of artists will they also recognize the sanctity of graffiti murals?
Painting Obstacles
Art is loved because it is free and somewhat wild, especially the kind that you see all over the city in places you wouldn't even expect. Public art turns drab city streets into full-on gallery exhibits with murals and other decorative pieces, but they're not always in plain sight.
So, where can you find the hidden gems? We've got the 7 best murals to see in the city plotted, so you can make a day of it seeking out their locations throughout the boroughs.

You’ll be greeted with complimentary glasses of Prosecco when you first enter Alidoro’s new Midtown outpost. As you make your way towards the back of the establishment, where you’ll find a wooden banquet table stacked to the brim with tons of Italian meats and cheeses.
You’ll be able to first choose from traditional Italian antipasto platters of salumi and Formaggio, alongside pasta & potato salads, all generously lined up along the two-hour open bar.
Leave room for plenty of dessert, because you’ll cap off the evening by devouring Alidoro’s signature spin on the traditional Italian Cannoli, which is made with a light, fluffy donut and filled with either a ricotta vanilla cream or Nutella ricotta cream, plus platters of pannacotta (chilled Italian custard served with fresh fruit), and freshly baked cookies and brownies.
