Creative Kirklees

Here is the latest Creative Kirklees newsletter:

Creative Kirklees Newsletter 7 May 2019

We are featuring lots of music in Kirklees this week.  As well as regular music events May brings us to festival time with a musical mix of annual festivals - Grand Northern Ukulele Festival, Shepley Spring FestivalLove 4 Music Festival and Holmfirth Festival of Folk.  You can see some of the regular local festivals on our new music festivals page on Creative Kirklees.
There will even be music at this month’s Temporary Contemporary Happening on 17 May from 5 – 7.30pm in Queensgate Market.  And while you’re there find out about Jean McEwan’s ‘Growing Cultures’ project – Jean is setting up stall from 10 May to the end of July and invites you to imagine, dream, talk about what tomorrow’s culture in Huddersfield could be and look like.
Be sure you don’t miss out on all these exciting events in Kirklees this month!
