The deadline for the 2018 ScreenCraft Action/Thriller Screenplay Contest is the 15th of August, full details below:

The 2018 ScreenCraft Action/Thriller Screenplay Contest is now accepting submissions!

This year the jury is better than ever, featuring executives from ApellesBad RobotColumbia PicturesDonners', and Elevate.
Our jury is looking for emerging voices in the action movie genre! Whether you have a tense thriller or a big, effects-driven action film, we want to read your screenplay. Accepting feature screenplays only. 3 winners will receive cash awards and introductions to industry professionals!

Early Deadline is August 24th. Final Deadline is October 25th.

Meet the 2018 Hollywood Jury:

·         Belle Avery: Producer (Apelles Entertainment) of The Meg, a big budget action adventure starring Jason Statham in theaters August 10th, 2018.
·         Jeannette Francis: Creative Executive at Bad Robot, JJ Abrams' company behind such franchises as Cloverfield, Star Wars, Mission Impossible and Star Trek.
·         Matthew Leonetti: Executive at Columbia Pictures, production company and distributor behind such action titles as Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and The Equalizer 2.
·         Andrew Bergamo: Development Executive at The Donners' Company, company behind such titles as Deadpool, Logan, Constantine and The X-Men films.
·         Jenny Wood: Manager (Elevate Entertainment) of Taylor Sheridan, writer of Hell or High Water, Sicario and Sicario: Day of the Soldado.
·         Steven E. de Souza: With his films grossing over $2 Billion at the box office, he is the screenwriter behind such legendary action films as Die Hard, 48 Hrs., Commando and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.
