These are just some of the ways visitors have described Rip It Up: The Story of Scottish Pop at the National Museum of Scotland (until 25 November 2018).

Don't miss your chance to discover the story of Scottish pop music from the 1950s to the present day, from influential indie pioneers to global superstars. Featuring original stage outfits and instruments, many loaned by the artists themselves, plus memorabilia, film and, of course, music, the exhibition explores the musical culture of the nation over more than half a century.

Sponsored by Baillie Gifford Investment Managers.
