Wakefield Youth Music Theatre presents one of the most
iconic musicals of all time featuring the well loved songs I Dreamed A Dream,
Master Of The House and One Day More.
Set in France in 1815, Les Misérables
is a story of struggle and redemption during the French revolution.
After nineteen years in prison for stealing bread, Jean Valjean is
released on parole. By law, he must display a yellow ticket-of-leave,
which condemns him as an outcast. He starts a new life as a factory
owner with a new name but when one of his workers has an illegitimate
daughter who is taken away, he risks everything to find and protect
her.
One of the most successful musicals in the world, Les Misérables has already celebrated 30 years
in the West End and we're delighted to be bringing it to Wakefield once
again.
