NEW! Jeremy
Hardy: Live 2018
Cleckheaton Town Hall, Mon
22nd October
Jeremy Hardy is in his 4th decade as a stand-up this
year. That’s a more dramatic way of saying he started 34 years ago and,
without a lottery win, probably has at least another 34 years to go. In
2014, the tenth series of Jeremy Hardy Speaks to the Nation was
broadcast on Radio 4 and more recently his brand-new series Jeremy
Hardy Feels It. He is also well known for his appearances on The News
Quiz and I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue.
Indeed, Alan Bennett recently said he likes him “but
he’s only on the radio”. However, Jeremy isn’t only on the radio, his
television credits include: Jack Dee’s Election Helpdesk (BBC2), QI
(BBC1), Mock The Week (BBC2), Grumpy Old Men (BBC1), Back In The Day
(BBC2), Not Tonight With John Sergeant (BBC2).
He is also on the road all year round and has never
stopped doing live shows since 1984. He’s continuing his tour this
autumn and appearing at Cleckheaton Town Hall for the first time! Tickets £14 and on sale now
Remarkably compelling, amazingly detailed and always
humorous Tony
Stockwell appears at Cleckheaton Town Hall on Thu 13th
September for an evening of mediumship. Derek Acorah, one of Britain’s best
loved, and most entertaining, mediums takes to Dewsbury Town Halls
stage on Fri 16th November with his ‘Love, Life, Laughter
Tour’. Finally, tickets have just gone on sale for Sally Morgan,
the world renowned psychic, television and
theatre star and the UK’s favourite
award winning medium. Sally appears at Huddersfield Town Hall on
Fri 29th March.
Long before the end of a live show and the frequent
standing ovations that accompany it, there comes a point where Elkie
does something so amazing that it leaves her audience almost
spellbound. It could be a particularly emotional rendition of one
of her ballads, a powerhouse blues vocal or one of her trademark
impossibly long notes that leaves the audience mesmerised.
Elkie will be performing her biggest hits including “Pearl’s A Singer”,
“Lilac Wine”, “Fool (If You think It’s Over)”, Don’t Cry Out Loud”
& “No More The Fool” as well as many more featured on her recent
hit album “Elkie Brooks – Pearls – The Very Best Of”. Tickets £29.50
