NEW! Jeremy Hardy: Live 2018

jeremy

Cleckheaton Town Hall, Mon 22nd October

Jeremy Hardy is in his 4th decade as a stand-up this year. That’s a more dramatic way of saying he started 34 years ago and, without a lottery win, probably has at least another 34 years to go. In 2014, the tenth series of Jeremy Hardy Speaks to the Nation was broadcast on Radio 4 and more recently his brand-new series Jeremy Hardy Feels It. He is also well known for his appearances on The News Quiz and I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue.
Indeed, Alan Bennett recently said he likes him “but he’s only on the radio”. However, Jeremy isn’t only on the radio, his television credits include: Jack Dee’s Election Helpdesk (BBC2), QI (BBC1), Mock The Week (BBC2), Grumpy Old Men (BBC1), Back In The Day (BBC2), Not Tonight With John Sergeant (BBC2).
He is also on the road all year round and has never stopped doing live shows since 1984. He’s continuing his tour this autumn and appearing at Cleckheaton Town Hall for the first time! Tickets £14 and on sale now

Elkie Brooks: Live in Concert

elkie1

Huddersfield town Hall, Sat 3rd November

Long before the end of a live show and the frequent standing ovations that accompany it, there comes a point where Elkie does something so amazing that it leaves her audience almost spellbound.  It could be a particularly emotional rendition of one of her ballads, a powerhouse blues vocal or one of her trademark impossibly long notes that leaves the audience mesmerised.

Elkie will be performing her biggest hits including “Pearl’s A Singer”, “Lilac Wine”, “Fool (If You think It’s Over)”, Don’t Cry Out Loud” & “No More The Fool” as well as many more featured on her recent hit album “Elkie Brooks – Pearls – The Very Best Of”. Tickets £29.50
