Street theatre performance and dance at
World of Folk

Come and see our smashing outdoor street theatre and performance line-up at World of Folk at Cleckheaton Folk Festival on Saturday 7 July, on town centre streets between 12-4pm.
See a fusion of performers from around the globe strutt their stuff, mixed with traditional English folk festivities.
The event is free to attend as part of the festival weekend, which runs from 6-8 July.
Performers include Folk Dance Remixed, Anjaana, Punjabi Roots Academy, Chicks on Sticks, Urban Angels and Heritage Corner.

Get involved: Perform at Cleckheaton Folk Festival

Creative Scene is offering a unique opportunity for people of all ages and abilities, to participate in a free dance workshop and perform at this year’s Cleckheaton Folk Festival.
Join Folk Dance Remixed to learn folk, hip hop and dances from around the world.
Perform with professionals around a maypole, with a live music from Folk Dance Remixed and Anjaana Punjabi Folk Band.
A free workshop takes place on Friday 6 July between 5-8pm, at Whitcliffe Mount School (Activity Hall) BD19 3AQ. Families welcome. No experience necessary.
The performance is on Saturday 7 July at 2.15pm-2.30pm, on Savoy Square, as part of Cleckheaton Folk Festival.
