We've got lots of winners news this week. First up, we've announced the winners of the FIRE themed flash competition. Well done to everyone that was shortlisted and highly commended and congratulations to our three winners. You can read the winning stories here.  There's just over a month now to get your submissions in for the June comp - theme WIND - to be in with a chance of winning up to £400 in cash and getting published on the website. The winner of the free comp run by Lucy Writers Platform to win a free place on the group online Fantastic Flashing course starting on 3rd June has also been announced. Congratulations to Emily Slade, you can read her winning story here. There are only two places left on the online course now if you want to join us for two weeks of fun and intense flashing! A new writing retreat has just opened for bookings. The Plot, People and Place Retreat is for writers wanting to start a new novel, or revise an early draft, and Amanda Saint will be teaching workshops that will help you to get to grips with your story, characters and setting. Plus the writers that come on this retreat have the option of booking an ongoing mentoring package so they get support and guidance all the way through the writing or editing of their draft.
