A new family member

 

As you may or may not know Rolands Leeds, Rolands Harrogate, and Wolfe Brothers Gin are all part of the Domino family.
We're super proud to announce that The Woods in Chapel Allerton is now part of the fam.

The Woods is already known for its cool welcoming atmosphere, gorgeous sun terrace, great drink selection, live music, and badass pizza, without the need to change much, it's already a great fit.

This beautiful 21-year-old whisky is a new addition to the Tobermory range that was finished in ex-oloroso sherry casks.
These were chosen to create flavours reminiscent of foraged fruit found scattered across the distillery's charming home on the Isle of Mull.
Hazelnuts, aromatic spices and red berries creep through treacle on the nose, and you will find plenty of sweet notes reminiscent of marzipan, toffee and sultanas balanced by ginger on the palate.

What's On at Cubby Broccoli: New releases are back!

 

Hello,

In case you missed the big news, the doors to Pictureville reopen on 31 August with a day of very special £3 film screenings.

Looking for your film fix in the meantime? New releases are back at our Cubby Broccoli screen from Friday, with a Yorkshire-based sci-fi and a Mexican comedy screening alongside some classic cinema.

We'd like to remind you that the museum foyer is currently inaccessible and as a result, Cubby Broccoli will only be accessible via its rear entrance next to Sharpe Street car park. You can find more information about our Cubby Broccoli screen below.

About Cubby Broccoli

Cubby Broccoli is one of the three cinema screens at Pictureville Cinema. Named after Albert ‘Cubby’ Broccoli (the producer of many iconic James Bond films) the intimate auditorium has a capacity of one hundred seats, with three wheelchair spaces.

Explore Scotland’s critical position on the frontline of the Cold War in this free exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland. Cold War Scotland tells the stories of the Scots at the centre of this global conflict and considers both the visible and invisible legacies of the war in Scotland.

On Thu 22 Aug, delve deeper into the stories explored in the exhibition on a Morning Curator Tour with Dr Meredith Greiling and Dr Sarah Harper. Then, on Thu 5 Sep, join Dr Sam Alberti and University of Stirling Professor Holger Nehring for Spotlight On: Cold War Scotland to discuss how the period impacted and influenced Scottish lives, politics and landscape.
