The cafe is being refurbished!

Theatre in the Mill is being refurbished! We are expecting an expanded ground floor, refreshed restrooms and a transformed cafe. Planning has been underway for several months, and construction is expected to begin before the end of the month, with completion of the new space expected in early November.

For now, Theatre in the Mill staff has relocated to Gallery II (Feel free to stop by and say hello, and experience Bussing Out if you haven't already!) The theatre is closed until construction is complete. As mentioned in previous newsletters, all activity during the refurb period is being delivered at Gallery II in the University of Bradford's Chesham Building.

We will be hosting a reception for the new space, so keep an eye out for an opportunity to celebrate the new space with us!

In addition to the cafe, Theatre in the Mill's website is also being overhauled. We advise our audiences and artists to follow our socials and newsletter to keep up to date with offerings at the theatre until the website is relaunched. You can also reach us at theatre@bradford.ac.uk if you have any questions or want to get in touch.

Intro to Comedy Workshop

There are a few slots still available for our Intro to Comedy Workshop. Space is first-come, first-served. Your space is not confirmed until you receive an email from Theatre in the Mill. We are operating a wait list in case of dropouts.

Unveil Ireland’s Hidden West

Where cliffs dive into the Atlantic and seabirds dance in the salty breeze, join us on a fully guided hiking adventure along the northwest coastline on our brand new trip to Ireland’s Hidden West, first departing in May 2025.

Experience the awe-inspiring cliffs of Slieve League, among the highest in Europe, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the rugged shore. Explore Ireland’s legacy as the ‘land of saints and scholars’ at a scarcely visited monastic island in Fermanagh’s Lakelands. Marvel at the iconic Benbulben, a table-top mountain that dominates the skyline and is steeped in myth and legend. And witness the power of nature at one of Ireland’s most dramatic coastal locations, Downpatrick Head.

Leave the crowds behind and discover Ireland’s Hidden West. With breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and unforgettable experiences around every corner, this journey will leave you with memories that last a lifetime.

Come along to be one of the first to unveil Ireland’s Hidden West in 2025.
