In Celebration of Women's History Month we are delighted to host
graduate Shirley Cramer, former CEO of the Royal Society for
Public Health. The conversation will focus on women in
leadership, the past, the present and future and will give you an
insight into the thoughts, ideas and experiences of one of our
alumni. The event will be hosted by Eva Kipnis, Professor of Marketing
at the University of Bradford. Attendees will also be invited to
submit questions.

Cramer - Reflections on women in leadership, the past, the
present and future

Join us
for a conversation with Bradford Alumna, Shirley Cramer, as we
explore her journey from Bradford to establishing her career of
over 25 years in leadership experience in the voluntary and
non-profit sectors in both the UK and USA as a management and
development consultant.
The conversation will focus on Shirley’s experience of climbing
the corporate ladder as a female, alongside sharing her opinion
on the future of diverse leadership and corporate gender
equality. This session covers key diversity and equality issues
and celebrates female alumni as part of Women’s History Month.

About the Speaker
Shirley Cramer, CBE, is a member of our Bradford
alumni community, having received her BA in Applied Social
Studies in 1978. Shirley has over 25 years
leadership experience and has held senior positions in
both the UK and the USA. She has also held non-executive
positions in both countries in the public and voluntary
sectors.
Shirley is a former Chief Executive of the Royal Society of
Public Health and Dyslexia Action, and most recently has
been interim Chief Executive of Alzheimer's Research UK. She is
also Chairman of the Equality and Diversity External Advisory
Group at the Department of Business Innovation and Skills.
Shirley is Chair of British Future, an independent,
non-partisan thinktank seeking to involve people in an open
conversation which addresses people's hopes and fears about
identity and integration, migration and opportunity.
