GREENHAM ON FILM The Leeds Library - Wed 8 March 2023 at 7pm Join us for a
double feature combining classic and contemporary takes on the Greenham Common
Women’s Peace Camp. In an evening of cutting edge documentary
making, we bring you Women Against the Bomb, a prize-winning look at the impact
of the Greenham Women, reflected through interviews and footage from women who
took action and never looked back. Then we’ll go back to early days
of the camp with Beeban Kidron and Amanda Richardson’s fly-on-the-wall
masterpiece shot in the year they lived at Greenham – Carry Greenham
Home.Linked by guest speakers who feature in the films and artists from Scary
Little Girls and Greenham Women Everywhere, this evening will be a chance to
see the Greenham movement in all its glory, grim, grit and enduring
