Indira has been an independent soul from a young age. From convincing her parents that boarding school was the only way she could follow her true calling, to opening a gallery claiming the space the New York art scene was missing - a voice for women.
I had the pleasure of visiting Indira at the Spring/Break Art show and later having the chance to sit down and talk to her. Check out our great conversation all things art and feminism below.

Alright, alright, we know what you're thinking: "Wine and cheese pairing? Hard pass." But let us explain all the deets. This is anything but your traditional, boring wine and cheese class. With help from Beecher's amazing team of down-to-earth wine and cheese experts, we've now made these experiences super relatable, casual, and fun.
Get Out There
It's the first weekend of April.
Say goodbye to winter and hello to warmer nights out. From dance parties to variety comedy shoes, we have plans for you to get the most out of your weekend.
Love Brunch?
For two hours, you’ll leave your inhibitions at the door and become a downright integral part of this culinary adventure.
That’s right if you’re totally over sitting down at another overcrowded weekend brunch spot and simply stuffing your face (and tummy!) with mediocre egg dishes and watered down Bloody Marys, listen up-- because this is not just another super annoying, boozy brunch.

Starting this weekend, the wildly successful and sold-out interactive food experience 'Make Pizza Drink Wine' spawns its very own weekend brunch rendition on Saturday and Sunday afternoons in Brooklyn and Manhattan with 'Make (Brunch) Pizza Drink Bubbly: Greenpoint' & 'Make Pizza Drink Bubbly: Hudson Square'.
So how about you roll up your sleeves with your bae or weekend brunch squad and learn how to make a brunch or Neapolitan pie from scratch—practically however your lil’ heart desires—and then devouring your very own creation after it's tossed in the oven?! All the while, you sip on bottomless mimosas, Bellinis, or Prosecco and get served amazing appetizers like disco fries, fresh focaccia bread, and even truffle cheese rice balls. Oh, and to top it all off, what better way to finish off your brunch than with a Nutella-infused or tiramisu dessert?
Want to feel extra good about enjoying your time out making pizza and drinking bubbly? Make Pizza Drink Wine has proudly partnered with Slice Out Hunger, which supports local hunger relief organizations through the American pizza community, and donate 5% from all ticket sales to their efforts. If we told you there was an enormous cheese production facility located in the heart of Manhattan’s Flatiron District, would you even believe us? Well, there absolutely is.
And now, thanks to Beecher’s Handmade Cheese starting on Monday, April 8th, 15th & 22nd at 7 PM, you can pair five of their deliciously domestic, artisanal cheeses with five ultra unique wines while overlooking their super-impressive cheese factory -- all going down in a super intimate loft perched above the corner of East 20th Street and Broadway!
Short Story Selection
The Roman Empire was one of the largest in history, spanning across multiple continents and various peoples. A flourishing empire, they conquered lands completely by force.
In Drake’s amazing short story, Taranis and his men are searching for help to make a move against the Romans.
Taranis finds a cave with a secret prisoner who he believes can help. He does not, however, realize who this mysterious girl truly is.

The wildly successful and sold-out interactive food experience 'Make Pizza Drink Wine: FiDi' has now spawned its very own brunch rendition on Saturday afternoons in Brooklyn with 'Make (Brunch) Pizza Drink Bubbly: Greenpoint'.
Located in the historic neighborhood of Greenpoint, Fornino is everything a neighborhood pizza joint is supposed to be: charming, cozy, and inviting. Fun fact: Its owner, chef, and restaurateur Michael Ayoub has been credited as starting the New York City artisanal pizza craze in 2004 with the launch of Fornino, considered his life’s work. (NBD, you know?)

Nestled in the heart of Manhattan’s transformative Hudson Square, Adoro Lei (for those curious, the expression is Italian for “I love her”) has completely recreated the traditional pizza-eating experience into the ultimate pizza party vibe with its stylish interior art and carefully-curated playlist.
The ultra-hip setting within this upscale Italian restaurant/lounge is the main reason why ‘Make Pizza Drink Wine’ has selected the venue as its second Manhattan location.

Still not sold? How about instead of being told which cheeses to pair with what wines and when, you'll be able to do the pairing yourself. That's right, you'll be in control of deciding how to create an absolutely heavenly combination of wines and cheeses, for your very own palate and tastes. No judgments.
The best part of it all? At the conclusion of the event, you'll get to enjoy a complimentary refill of your favorite from the five wines you tried. Nice!
And in keeping with Beecher’s commitment to pure food, 1% of all sales will be contributed to the Flagship Foundation, founded by Beecher’s in 2004 to provide education about the benefits wholesome eating and nutrition.
