and great-nephew of the 12th US President, Colonel Edmund Haynes
Taylor. This small batch bourbon is aged inside warehouses which
he built at what is now known as the Buffalo Trace Distillery,
and is certified Bottled in Bond - a government guarantee of a
spirits quality that Taylor himself helped introduce. Taylor was
an incredibly important figure in bourbon's history, who owned a
whole host of distilleries and innovated production methods that
are still used today.
