Here we are again, bringing you some
highlights of the arts and creative activity taking place across the
district.
As you may know, October is
Black
History Month and Kirklees Council has pulled
together a calendar of brilliant events and activities taking place
in Kirklees – do be sure to check them out if you want to join in the
celebrations.
Do you know any little ones
who are starting to get excited about Halloween? If
so, you might want to look at the range of exciting activities on the
site including some Halloween
Children’s Art Workshops in Kirklees Museums this
weekend.
Over 30 fabulous films for
all ages are coming to various venues across the Holme Valley thanks
to the Holmfirth
Film Festival which is running from 13 October –
26 November.
Finally, the
programme for hcmf// 2023 has been
announced,
with tickets now on sale for this the 46th edition of the
UK’s largest international festival of new and experimental music, featuring
a packed 10-day programme of over 50 events between 17-26 November.
