Kicking off this week, tomorrow, Wednesday
25th October 7.30pm, Silky & Friends returns
for its monthly outing with Rob Rouse headlining. Support from Molly
McGuiness and Faizan Shah. And of course your perennial host, Silky. £12 /£10.
On Thursday 26th
October, 7pm, it is JazzLeeds – Nigel Price
Organ Trio. Nigel Price is one of the UK’s leading jazz
guitarists, performing with his Organ Trio in an evening of tunes made
famous by the legendary guitarist Wes Montgomery and Grant Green. Doors 7pm Music from 7.30pm.
£18/16 conc (25s and under £9).
On Friday 27th and
Saturday 28th October, 8pm, the band we've all been waiting
to come back to Seven, Caution Collective.
Look forward to two nights of acoustic soul, R&B and pure
roof-raising energy. With original material throughout, Caution
Collective founder and key musician, Christella, presents a host of
singer songwriters and outstanding vocal talents plus the unstoppable
backing of the Caution Collective Band. £18.
The Christy Herron Trio
is our Autumn Sessions offer on Saturday
28th October, 4-6pm, with this Leeds rock ‘n’ roll and
blues trio unleashing their bluesy malfeasance. Electrifying vocals and
guitar; and solid grooving rhythm section. Seven Bar. Pay What You feel.
A very special JazzLeeds concert on Sunday
29th October, 1.30- 4pm, JazzLeeds – Dudley Nesbitt
and Pan Jumby. Dudley Nesbitt has won a well deserved
Windrush award for his work in music and this special gig at Seven Arts
features the steel pan-led jazz quintet. £12 /£10. Under 16s free.
And, don't forget the Seven Quiz on Sunday 29th October, 7pm, this
and every Sunday. Test your knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere – a great
way to end the weekend with friends.

Coming up next week, on Wednesday
1st November, 11.30am -12.30pm, a half term special, Anything Could Happen.
Improvised storytelling bringing your make believe to life with
hilarious results. What stories will you tell? £4. Everyone needs a ticket but
no charge for under 3s.

November is a bumper packed day. Look out for Rush Hour Jazz - Raquel
Alvaro , 6-7.15pm.
Portuguese jazz singer Raquel Alvaro has recently completed her degree
at Leeds Conservatoire. She is accompanied today by Will Powell on

What You Feel.
Murder Inc is
next up at 7.30pm on
Wednesday 1st November. The show is a wholly improvised
crime story. The cast takes your suggestions and weave a sordid tale
for you that is pacy and packed with belly laughs. It’s your job to
make your best guess of ‘whodunnit’ before the show is over and one
winning detective team will take home a prize. £10.
And rounding off this newsletter, on Thursday
2nd November, 8pm, The Big Easy.Their
repertoire covers from the early days of swing, classic New Orleans
jazz and lively jump-jive and the dynamic, energetic and virtuosic
playing, interspersed with moments of soulful-melancholy will make this
a night to remember. Doors
