The culmination of the 2023 Creative Future Writers’ Award takes place at the Southbank Centre as part of the London Literature Festival on Friday 20 October at 7.30 pm.

Twelve winners were selected by poet Wayne Holloway-Smith and poet/essayist Nina Mingya Powles, alongside judges Jennifer Kerslake from Curtis Brown Creative, Joey Connolly at Faber Academy, Maryam Hessavi from Poetry School and Aki Schilz from The Literary Consultancy.

At this event, the winning writers will read their work alongside the hosts and CF’s 2023 Regional Writers In Residence—an exciting showcase of new and emerging voices.

The winners will receive £20,000 in cash and development prizes from leading literary partners, long-term support, and publication in an anthology which debuts at the event.

Can’t be there in person? The event will also be live streamed on YouTube. Click here for further details.
