Taking place from 6.30pm and details of the 2023 Pitch Prize:
Q&A with
2023 Pitch Prize Judge Millie Hoskins
Thinking of submitting
to our Pitch Prize or
indeed any other writing competition? Then join us for an
online Q&A with this year's judge, literary agent Millie
Hoskins from United Agents.
Tuesday
October 24th from 6 to 7.30pm BST, Millie will
reveal what submissions she's currently looking for
and answer all your questions. She will also share
some insider industry tips and explain how
to get your submission noticed.
The session will be useful to writers ready for agent submissions
as much of what will be covered applies to submissions in
general.
Millie joined United Agents in 2014 and is a 2022 Bookseller Rising Star. She is
looking for exciting new writers of fiction –
commercial, literary and narrative non-fiction of most
genres, excluding SFF.
Enter your first
500 words, a 300 word synopsis and cover letter to
the Pitch Prize for the chance to
win a one-to-one with Millie. Closing date for submissions
is 5 November.
