It's
a jam packed July for events in Kirklees.
Highlights for this weekend are Huddersfield
Carnival on 8 July and Sangam
Mela on 9 July, both taking place in Greenhead
Park in Huddersfield, as part of Kirklees Year of Music 2023. There
will be plenty of music, entertainment and fun for all the family.
On 8 July you can also join WOVEN for Textile
Futures - book your free tickets for this amazing
opportunity to see textile industry demonstrations, take a higher
education tour and get careers information, all in one place.
For one night only, Tongue
Fu,
one of the UK’s leading spoken word and music shows, performs in
Dewsbury on 7 July. Writers and storytellers take to the stage to
perform live, amplified by the quick-witted improvisers of the Tongue
Fu band.
Have you heard about HERD?
This genre-defying musical mash up celebrating Kirklees cultural and
industrial heritage will be popping up from 11 – 16 July with
larger-than-life sheep. It will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen
or heard before!
For more events, head to our What's
On page on Creative Kirklees.
