Earth
Day at Wilderness Ireland
Although
we feel that every day should be Earth Day, today we would like to
take a moment to remember why sustainable travel is so important to
us. Exploring and appreciating nature is at the very heart of who we
are. We truly believe that spending time outdoors is good for mind,
body and soul. That's why we are so passionate about protecting the
wild places we visit on our trips.
This Earth Day, we would like to reaffirm the commitment we've made
to our travellers, ourselves and to the natural world to achieve True Net Zero status by 2030. We
recognise that this will be no small feat, however as an
ethically-driven company, it is of paramount importance to us that we
protect the beautiful Irish wilderness and countryside we call home.
Curious to learn more about our sustainability practices and goals? Read
all about how we measure and work to reduce our carbon footprint
below. Check out our latest blog on spring flowers and Irish bluebells –
which gives yet another excuse to go hunting for beauty and wellness
in nature.
Happy Earth Day from the Wilderness Team.
