The story was well received, there were some particularly fab lines and dialogue that sung. Alice suggested changing some sections into flashbacks to avoid telling which will help the reader feel they are going on the story journey with the MC. Barbara shared her short story A Day in the Life which was very evocative and Gemma liked the way she mixes emotion with humour.

Writing plans: Gemma has had a new idea for the beginning of novel 2 which will up the tension, so will be working on that. Ria will be working on her MSs. Cassie will be working on her novel. Karen will pitch on the 2 pitch days and either edit or write more words. Barbara will continue her short story work. Alice will be working on her choose your own adventure MS.
