Creative Kirklees
Newsletter 12 April 2022
|
As well
as a superb range of creative events and activities we have to share with
you this week, we would like to draw your attention to a number of job
opportunities that have been added to the site (with more on the website)
- it would be great if you could please share these opportunities with
anyone you think may be interested.
Do you
have/or do you know anyone with a passion for outdoor events, tourism and
promotion? Kirklees Council are looking for two
Events Project Officers and an Events Co-ordinator to
join them as they expand their team to develop a dynamic, inclusive, and
attractive events programme.
You may
know that Dewsbury was successful in securing £25m from the Towns Fund
(part of the government’s plan for levelling up the UK economy) and a
Cultural Programme has now been established to deliver a broad range of
projects through the Dewsbury Town Initiative Programme. Three
freelancers are now being sought to help in delivering this - a
Programme Manager, a Community Co-ordinator and Evaluator.
Musica
Kirklees currently have a number of musical
teaching vacancies also that may be of interest to
you or someone you know.
To see
some of the appealing events and activities going on over the next couple
of weeks (there are some great workshops and courses coming up) please
scroll down through the newsletter (and check out our website
to find more).
Wishing
you all a very happy Easter holiday and we hope you get to
experience some of the wonderful things going on in our district.
We will be taking a break from the newsletter next week and will be back
with you the week after on Tuesday 26 April.
