The second National Indexing Day
will be held on Thursday
29 March 2018. To celebrate, the Society of
Indexers (SI) is running a half-day event for publishers at the
Foundling Museum, Brunswick Square, London, from 12 noon to 4pm on 29
March.
This event will include a welcome from honorary president, Sam Leith, and
sessions with a focus on current indexing practices and digital
developments regarding embedded and linked indexes for ebooks.
The event will provide a valuable opportunity to promote the profession
of indexing and to learn from each other for the creation of better
book indexes.
