Welcome to your March
edition of the This
is Edinburgh newsletter! We've started off the month
plunged into the belly of The Beast from the East, but even if we're under
an unexpectedly thick blanket of white, there's still a lot to see and
do while we enjoy the days getting longer and wait for the snow ploughs.
When you're done playing in the snow,
check out Edinburgh
Lumen, taking over spaces in the city centre. Check out
what's happening in Edinburgh for Mothers'
Day and get stuck into exploring our cit's story with
our Edinburgh's
101 Objects City of Innovation Itinerary. Make sure
you check out our competition down below to win a family ticket to Jurassic Kingdom
at Lauriston Castle, read our Guide
to What's On In Edinburgh for the latest must-see events
and shows!
Read on to make the most of Edinburgh
in March...

What's
on in Edinburgh in March
We may be starting March off with an
unseasonal amount of snow, but there's still plenty reason to get out
and about in the city this month beyond the chance for a snowball fight or
to make a snowman. Mothers'
Day is coming on 11 March, and if you're after some musical
theatre, Blood
Brothers is coming to the city from 5-10 March while Hairspray
is on at the Edinburgh Playhouse from 12-16 March.
|
Mothers'
Day in Edinburgh
Mothers' Day is approaching on 11 March and
there's no better place to treat Mum than in Edinburgh - which is why we've
put together a handy guide to some of the best deals on in the city to help
you show your mum what she means to you.
From half price cocktails available at Kaleidoscope Bar,
to a champagne cream tea on the Royal
Yacht Britannia or a Mothers' Day roast at Kyloe (complete
with a gift of flowers and Edinburgh Gin for her to go home with) and so
much more, Edinburgh will treat you as much as it treats Mum this 11 March.
