JUNIOR CAMPS
Over the Easter holidays,
bring the kids down to our Junior Camps. We run these from
Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm over the holidays and your
kids will learn about all aspects of the game of golf through fun
activities and friendly challenges.
It’s £40 per day, or £180 for the full week so you can
choose when your kid takes part depending on your schedule!

TIGER CUBS
Our Tiger Cubs
sessions are back on 1st April and we want to
welcome a whole new set of juniors to the squad.
Every Sunday, from April to October, we hold our
friendly Tiger Cubs competitions which allow youngsters
to build up their handicap and skills, and also play
for trophies and prizes throughout the season.
It’s £10 per session, or £175 to become a full Tiger
Cubs member for the year. This price includes a Tiger
Cubs Shirt, hat, entry to all competitions for the season,
and use of The Oaks Par 3 course to play and practice
whenever you wish.

Anything Could Happen @ Seven
If you can't wait
for the Easter break, you are probably too busy.
One for the children on
Easter Sunday, 1 April, 1-2pm, Anything Could Happen.
Improvising children’s ideas on the spot and bringing their stories to
life before their eyes is the essence of this show. Engaging, creative
and hilarious, join us to see what stories your children have to tell.
Suitable for 4 – 12 year olds. £3

On Tuesday 3 April,
7.30pm,
it is Café Economique –
Councillors and Governing in a Complex Environment.
Prof Colin Copus, of De Montfort University of Leicester, will explore
how local government exerts influence over the local economy, the
actions it can take, the alliances it must forge and the limitations on
its ability to direct the development of the local economy. £4 on the door.
On Wednesday 4
April, 8pm, Irish Arts Foundation, in collaboration with
Irish Film London, presents In the Name of Peace : John
Hume in America.Inspired by Martin Luther King, rising from
the riot-torn streets of Northern Ireland to enlist American Presidents
from Carter to Clinton, this is the story of the extraordinary work of
Nobel Prize-winner John Hume to harness and leverage US support to help
to secure peace in Ireland. Free
event.
Mik Artistik’s Ego Trip
is back on Friday 5
April, 8.30pm. It’s an incredibly daft, joyful, and
sometimes poignant affair, as Mik tumbles around the stage, spluttering
lyric’s, occasionally tripping over leads, and sprinkling the audience
with straws, whilst the elegant engine room of Benson Walker &
Jonny Flockton hold down the melodies. £10 adv / £12 otd. Doors 8pm.
On Saturday 7 April,
2.30pm, is the first Bengali movie to be screened in Leeds,
Meghnad Badh Rahasya.
This is a crime thriller in which famous writer, Professor Asimavo
Bose, disappears under mysterious circumstances. Directed by Anik
Dutta. With subtitles.£9
adult, £6 child.
On Sunday 8 April
1.30-4pm, JazzLeeds presents Jon
Shenoy’s “Draw by Four”. Draw By Four takes the classic 60s
organ quartet into brand new territory where the compositions from leader
Jon Shenoy mix contrapuntal bass lines and rhythmic hooks with
thoughtful lyricism. £10
/£8 conc.
And rounding off the weekend at 8pm,
