The Screenwriting Challenge 2018 Early Entry Deadline is Tomorrow!

The 15th annual Screenwriting Challenge kicks off on April 20, 2018 and the early entry deadline is March 22nd! The competition contains 3 rounds of writing. In the 1st Round (April 20-28, 2018), writers are placed randomly in heats and are assigned a genre, subject, and character assignment. Writers have 8 days to write an original screenplay no longer than 12 pages. The judges choose a top 5 in each heat to advance to the 2nd Round (June 14-17, 2018) where writers receive new assignments, only this time they have just 3 days to write an 8-page screenplay. Judges choose finalists from the 2nd Round to advance to the 3rd and final round of the competition where writers are challenged to create a 5-page screenplay in just 24 hours (July 20-21, 2018).
