Not sure what to do this weekend, here are a few ideas for those of my followers who live in or near Leeds, London and New York:
WIN
a #LIF18 extravaganza, don't miss this one-off fitness event for just £5
& take the kids to the capital for a surprisingly cheap price...
Forget the city centre, these suburban
pub crawls are worth going out of your way for. So why not take a break
from your favourite haunts and try somewhere new? From Roundhay to
Morley, Wetherby to Rothwell, head out of town to enjoy proper local
boozers, beer-centric bars and stomach-lining gastropubs.
Getting fit is dull, right? Wrong. TRIB3
has made it interesting with an intensive workout in a cool, club-like
setting and they're inviting you to try it out for just £5 with smoothie
masterclasses, nutritional talks, tasty nibbles and one-to-one chats with
their personal trainers.
To celebrate the return of Leeds Indie
Food, we're giving you the chance to win an almighty prize. You could bag
tickets to 9 of their most popular events, with everything from one-off
tasting menus to immersive film screenings and chocolate making
masterclasses. Altogether, it's worth £750, so get your entries in.
Forget kale, forgo the lentils – Oporto
is launching a 100% vegan menu that’s filled with comfort food and guilty
pleasures. It sounds too good to be true, but it's very, very real.
Expect a creative menu that recreates your favourite dishes – try
the Onion Bhaji Burger.
Escape Hunt has opened its first UK
venue in Leeds – find out what to expect from the city's latest opening.
Taking the kids for a day out in the
capital doesn't have to be expensive. There are loads of free and cheap
activities for you to try. And with the Easter holidays coming up,
there's never been a better time to go.
Leeds is great, but every now and then
we want to escape the city and enjoy the countryside. You don't have to
stay in a boring hotel though – you could sleep under the stars in
a geodome or stay on a hotel boat.
As the days start to get longer and the
weather starts to warm up, the city's food & drink scene goes into
overdrive, so you've got loads of tasty events ahead of you. From beer
festivals to veggie supper clubs, get stuck in.
