Here is my usual weekly post with ideas of what to do this weekend for those of my followers who live in or near to Leeds, London, Scotland or New York:
WIN dinner & champagne
at Neighbourhood, get fit as a firefighter and escape the city's locked-in
games...
Remember how we made a list of 21
new openings coming in 2018? Well now we've got another
10 to add to it. There's a familiar cocktail bar,
a microbrewpub and a fried chicken restaurant, not to mention a
new Northern forest and an adventure golf centre. Find out what's in the
pipeline.
Eat Leeds Restaurant Week will return this February and to
celebrate we're giving you the chance to win a fantastic night out at
Neighbourhood. Enjoy a bottle of champagne as you work your way through
the tasty treats on their menu.
Want to shake up your workout? Try Firehouse Fitness – it's a gym
with a difference. Created by firefighters, it's kitted out with the
latest state of the art equipment, as well as tractor tyres, hoses, sleds
and barrels – this is functional firefighter training at its best.
Love those locked in games? Curious to know if you could escape?
There are now 5 different escape games in Leeds and they have
multiple rooms to puzzle your way out of, so whether you're looking
for a unique party idea or just a bit of fun on the weekend, check 'em
out.
Not sure what to do for Burns Night? Here's what's on...
That's right, it's time to show your other half how much you
appreciate them – and what better way to do it than with a slap up meal
in one of the city's best restaurants?
If we could live anywhere in Leeds, these three flats would be
right at the top of the list. They're incredible – think huge outdoor
terraces, oodles of room for entertaining and bright spacious
rooms.
