We’d therefore like to highlight just a few fabulous independent music venues we have here in Kirklees. In Huddersfield, Small Seeds is an indoor woodland music venue and bar programming music events such as 'The Acoustic Club', 'Friday Night Jive' and 'Small Seeds presents'; The Northern Quarter, located in one of the town’s famous old live music venues in Wood Street has come back with a new look and The Parish who have had over 1000 gigs from 1500 bands and won national awards. In Holmfirth, there is of course, the Picturedrome, which is full of history with its built in stage and large dance floor.
