Brighouse Cinema: Viceroy's House 18 January 2018

For those of my followers who live in or near West Yorkshire, the film is Viceroy's House this Thursday at Brighouse Cinema:

Thursday 18th January, 7.30pm

Viceroy's House

The final Viceroy of India, Lord Mountbatten, is tasked with overseeing the transition of British India to independence.
Taking his place in the resplendent mansion known as the Viceroy's House, Mountbatten (Hugh Bonneville) arrives hopeful for a peaceful transference of power. But ending centuries of colonial rule in a country divided by deep religious and cultural differences proves no easy undertaking, setting off a seismic struggle that threatens to tear India apart.
With sumptuous period detail, director Gurinder Chadha brings to life a pivotal historical moment that re-shaped the world.

Tickets are £5, available in advance at Harrison Lord and Ryecorn Wholefoods, online and on the door. 7.30pm, Thursday 18th January at the Assembly Rooms (Masonic Hall), HD6 1EF

Our popular meal deals are again available, see here. Please book in advance.
