AUGMENTED is a group show focused on the intersection of art and technology, serving as a metaphor for the augmented self - not seen with the naked eye.
Inspired by your bodega man’s dreams, this exhibition is a one night only party, held at the well to do Arlo Nomad. A former Turkish bathhouse turned work of art, turned chic travelers boarding house.
We’d love for you and your artwork to be a part of this night!
To submit your work, download the 3DBrush App and create a piece that captures your AUGMENTED self.
Have Fun
There’s nothing like the end of December
Relaxing at home (no one is working and everyone is eating), there's an unseasonal warm breeze in the night and a fresh aura in the air. Plus a little something we know as "New Year, New Me" energy.
Make the most out of your weekend, here are a few things to check out!
Make Pizza, Drink Wine
Since we had such a great time earlier this month for our past two events, we're coming back for more, more, more!
Consider this your formal invite (yes, once again) to Kesté Pizza & Vino’s pizza-making classes, Make Pizza Drink Wine, going down from 7 PM to 10 PM on the following Friday nights: January 11th, 25th, plus February 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd!
Short Story Selection
Mist is essentially immortal, a Valkyrie sworn to protect the great god Odin’s mighty spear Gungnir.
It has been a long time since she’s heard from any of the gods and believes them to be dead. Naturally, her next step is to settle down in San Francisco.
There she makes a new friend and meets a man who, in her opinion, is everything a Viking Warrior should be.
Love involves something that’s hard to come by as an immortal living among humans, trust.

BRIC presents Penelope Umbrico's MONUMENT explores the unified state of current technologies in their obsolescence.
Umbrico begins with the idea that all technologies - including the electronics we use at home and in the workplace - are in effect “black boxes” whose contents are primarily incomprehensible to end users.
Umbrico has designed the exhibition as a hybrid residency/e-waste in-take center.  Stop by BRIC to bring a device of your own to be disassembled and explore the concepts of connection and waste.
