FREE Cleckheaton Literature Festival anthology launch, Saturday 15 December 1pm, Cleckheaton Library

Today is the third and final launch of the Cleckheaton Literature Festival anthology featuring poets and writers involved in the two festivals. The event is FREE and features readings from poets Ralph Dartford and Noel Whittall, plus short story writer Mandy Huggins. Copies of the anthology can be purchased at the launch for the reduced price of £5 per copy.

The event takes place from 1pm at Cleckheaton Library, Whitcliffe Road, Cleckheaton, BD19 3DX


Our third reading will be from short story writer Mandy Huggins whose work has appeared in a number of anthologies and literary journals, and she has been published by the Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Wanderlust, Mslexia and Writers' Forum. Her travel writing has won several awards, including the British Guild of Travel Writers New Travel Writer, and her short stories are regularly placed and listed in competitions, including Bare Fiction, Fish, InkTears, Bath, and Cinnamon Press. Mandy is the author of the flash fiction collection, Brightly Coloured Horses (Chapeltown Books), and the short story collection, Separated From the Sea (Retreat West Books. She is a member of Cleckheaton Writers Group.



There will be a book raffle, FREE refreshments and books from our featured writers and poets will also be available to purchase.
