Black Dyke Brass Festival The world’s most famous brass band returns to Dewsbury Town Hall for a Gala Concert on Sunday 22nd May at 3pm.  Featuring the Black Dyke Band and their special guests The Yorkshire Youth Band, supported by Geneva Instruments. The programme will feature music for everyone with favourites including Let’s Face the Music and Dance, Verdi’s Nabuco, Strictly Black Dyke. The Grand finale with Black Dyke, joined by over 100 musicians from Armthorpe Elmfield, Delph, Murley Silver Bands performing classics including Liberty Bell, 76 Trombones and the magnificent Suite Gothique. Tickets are £15 plus booking fee, concessions £13 plus booking fee. Book now Belshazzar's Feast Join Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra on 18th June at 7.30pm in Huddersfield Town Hall for a fabulous concert in collaboration with St.George's Singers. The highlight of the night will be the magnificent Belshazzar's Feast by William Walton which will be performed alongside Five Mystical songs by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Penillion by Grace Williams and The Unanswered Question by Charles Ives. There will be a pre-concert talk in the hall at 6.30pm which is free to all ticket holders.
