Draw By Four @ Seven
The JazzLeeds concert on Sunday
8 April, 1.30-4pm, is Jon Shenoy’s “Draw by Four”.
Draw by Four takes the classic 60s organ quartet into brand new
territory where the compositions from leader Jon Shenoy mix
contrapuntal bass lines and rhythmic hooks with thoughtful lyricism.
Look forward to an infectious mix of groove-based original
compositions, enchanting ballads and unique arrangements of avant-pop
songs. £10 /£8 conc.
On Monday 9 April, 8pm,
the Screen Seven movie is 20th Century Women.
During the summer of 1979, a Santa Barbara single mum and boarding
house landlord, Dorothea, enlists her young tenants - a quirky punk
photographer, a mellow handyman and her son's shrewd best friend
- to serve as role models in a changing world. With a mixture of pain
and pleasure Dorothea realises that her plan is taking Jamie away.

This month, Wednesday
11 April, 8pm, Seven Live presents the surreal, uplifting
and deliciously daft, Biscuithead and the Biscuit

13 April, 8pm, is Brotherhood of Troubadours
This published and award-winning circle of song writers present an
evening of original song and the stories behind their writing, as well
