Up Next:  The Screenwriting Challenge 2018 The Screenwriting Challenge 2018 Kicks off Tomorrow! Learn More, Register, and Read Winning Screenplays The 15th annual Screenwriting Challenge kicks off this Friday, April 20th and registration closes soon!  The competition contains 3 rounds of writing.  In the 1st Round (April 20-28, 2018), writers are placed randomly in heats and are assigned a genre, subject, and character assignment.  Writers have 8 days to write an original screenplay no longer than 12 pages.  The judges choose a top 5 in each heat to advance to the 2nd Round (June 14-17, 2018) where writers receive new assignments, only this time they have just 3 days to write an 8-page screenplay.  Judges choose finalists from the 2nd Round to advance to the 3rd and final round of the competition where writers are challenged to create a 5-page screenplay in just 24 hours (July 20-21, 2018).  Feedback is included on every submission and there are thousands in cash and prizes for the winners.  Sound like fun?  Join the competition below and get ready for April 20th!   Learn More & Register for this Challenge Featured Sponsors of this Challenge Since 1982, Write Brothers Inc. has been a world leader in film and television screenwriting and production software.
