Walking Through Time

A cityscape

West Yorkshire’s past is woven into every path, from Haworth’s windswept moors to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire and the timeless streets of Heptonstall. These heritage walks link Bradford and Calderdale through shared history and big‑sky scenery, taking you along canals, through mill towns and into the quiet woods of Hardcastle Crags — often finishing at a cosy pub. VisitBradford has teamed up with VisitCalderdale to share some of our favourite routes and give you a fresh way to explore this corner of Yorkshire.
