GlenAllachie 17 Mizunara & Oloroso Cask Finish
This week we have an exceptional single malt matured for 17 years in a combo of rare Japanese mizunara oak casks and oloroso sherry puncheons and hogsheads. A rare species of Japanese oak, Mizunara is seldom used for whisky maturation due to its high cost and inclination to leak. This expert combination of barrels has created an incredibly indulgent and complex bottling from the ever-impressive Speysider. Break-Even Price £6.27
