Latest Events, News and Opportunities

Wednesday, March 4th

Creativity is in full bloom across Kirklees this month!

Celebrate International Women’s Day early with two standout events on 7 Marcha zine‑making workshop at West Yorkshire Print Workshop, and SisterHudd’s launch of their 18‑month programme supporting women and women‑fronted artists at the Northern Quarter.

As spring arrives, The Kirkwood’s Mothers Day in Bloom installation at Oakwell Hall offers a creative and reflective tribute to the women who have shaped our lives, blending creativity with remembrance while supporting the hospice’s vital work.

Huddersfield’s much‑loved St Patrick’s Day Parade celebration is back, bringing colour, music, and community spirit to the town centre! Expect vibrant performances, joyful celebrations, and a fantastic atmosphere.

Meanwhile, the creative community gathers once again as Wilson’s Republic returns with #15 Perspective, an evening of creative inspiration, talks and connection with like‑minded creatives.

These events capture the breadth of creativity happening across Kirklees right now, see more below and on on our websites.
