Careers In Writing     Spark Young Writers is holding a careers-focused event, Careers In Writing, on Saturday 30th November for those aged 16– 24 who are interested in working in the writing industry.     We believe this event will be of real interest to the young people within your networks, who are thinking about the future.    Our speakers, Kit de Waal, Lucy Martin and John Bernard, will cover novels, memoirs, making projects happen, writing for young people, working in publishing and making a career as a poet.   There will be plenty of time for more informal conversations, advice and networking - a chance to connect with other like-minded young people.     When: Saturday 30th November 2024 from 1pm (we also have limited tickets available for 1-2-1s which will take place from 10am) Where: Birmingham & Midland Institute, Margaret Street, Birmingham   Click here for more information and to book tickets
