Dear Reader,

We’ve just had ‘Super Thursday’, the bonanza publishing day that sees 1,900 new titles hit the shelves, more than any other day of the year. And who’s expected to sell big? Our old PM, of course. Boris Johnson’s Unleashed is set to be the best-selling political memoir this year. Although, given the interviews I’ve listened to, it may be somewhat elastic with the truth (ahem). You might prefer to pick up Miranda Hart’s book which talks about her struggle with Lyme disease or get stuck into Stanley Tucci’s What I Ate in One Year, for something a little more tasteful. For other suggestions, stay tuned to our Book Club page, and our next print issue will bring you our favourite books of the year. Subscribe now.
