Each
year, Writer’s Relief has the privilege of hosting the Peter K.
Hixson Award, a unique opportunity for creative writers made possible
by our late client Peter K. Hixson’s generosity.
Peter
had such a positive experience with Writer’s Relief during his life
that he generously bequeathed a portion of his estate so that
selected up-and-coming writers would have the opportunity to benefit
from our submission assistance program.
This
year, the award will be given to one poet and one short story writer.
Each winner will receive over $2,000.00 worth of Writer’s Relief
services as our team of submission strategists works to see the
winning entries published in literary journals.
