Dear,
Eco-anxiety. It’s a thing. I’ve been getting into it with green
lifestyle coach (yes, such a job exists), Lucy Johnson, who came and did a
session with the C&TH team about it. My takeaway was that when we can
align our true human values – creativity, collaboration, and living with
nature, not against her – with our lifestyle choices, then not only is
this better for the planet, it’s also better for our mental health.
Sometimes, we’re so distracted from our true purpose by following
lifestyles based on addictive behaviours – social media, ultra
processed foods, buying more stuff in the quest to make us happier, that we
lose sight of what it is to be human. It’s big stuff, and you’ll read more
about it in our next edition. In the meantime, here
are Lucy’s tips on how to deal with your feelings around climate change.
There’s still time to enter our prize draw to win seven nights (not
four – as I mistakenly wrote last week) and business class flights with
Malaysia Airlines to the Datai Langkawi if you fill in our reader
survey!
Have a great week.

The Very
Best Things To Do This Summer
|
|
|
|
|
Dear Karen,
Here comes the sun! But
how to make the most of it? No need to jet set when the UK is brimming with
so many beautiful spots.
Take a stroll across
pastoral green fields (why not end at a cute
country pub?), or take a trip to the beach
with a picnic in
tow, donning your swimsuit,
your favourite floral
dress and, of course, some lovely summer loafers.
Our favourites are Crockett
& Jones, especially with the new Riviera collection. A
Great British brand with 100 percent of Goodyear welted production in
Northampton, England, this super soft, European styled collection of summer
weight loafers benefits from the SUPERFLEX leather sole – exclusive to Crockett
& Jones and their most flexible leather sole ever – which
offers comfort and grip while being extremely hardwearing.

Pick your favourite
pair, and head out on your summer soujourn.
Enjoy,
