Things are feeling pretty grim out in the world, so to have a few
laughs seems more important than ever. Tomorrow, Wednesday 29th June, 8pm,
Silky & Friends
will ensure this month's headliners, Nina Gilligan “a naturally funny comedian with
a charming and genuinely likeable style,” John Thompson, and
Eddie Brimson, leave everyone smiling. £12 / £10 conc
This weekend's pop-up is Twisted Kitchen,
with flavours from the Caribbean and beyond - perfect for a sunny or wet
summer evening. 1st -
3rd July (Friday 5-8pm Sat 12-8pn Sun 12-6pm).
This weekend too, look out for reggae-infused soul and R&B from
Seven's favourite, Kwame D.

& Disko (LBCD) presents Hafla, an evening of
performances from bellydance troupes and soloists. A relaxed, informal

On Sunday 3rd July,
1.30-4pm, JazzLeeds presents Emily
Brown Quintet. Emily is an experienced jazz singer with a
gift for harmonic risk-taking and accessing emotional depth in a song.
Expect to hear jazz, blues and soul classics delivered in Emily’s
warmly alert style. £10

12th June, don't forget the Sunday Quiz, a
