Phoenix Players are presenting No Dinner for Sinners, a hilarious comedy with lots of twists and turns at Howden Clough Community Centre from Thursday 16th – Saturday 18th June and Huddersfield Town Hall is the place to be to enjoy Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra perform with St George’s Singers at their concert ‘Belshazzers Feast’ on Saturday evening.

Also this weekend, you can celebrate Windrush Day with a day of fun for everyone at Northfield Hall, Huddersfield taking place on Saturday (19 June) from 1 pm- 6pm

Beginning next week, the School of Arts and Humanities at The University of Huddersfield in collaboration with Temporary Contemporary, invite you to take part in ‘Cultures of Place’, a celebratory showcase of exhibitions, installations, performances, workshops, podcasts, talks and discussions about place, drawing on research taking place now.  Running from 24 June – 4 July – do check out what the programme has in store.

Finally a quick mention about the Artist Opportunity from Kirklees Council who are seeking to create playful public art to enhance the public realm and celebrate Huddersfield Town’s historic connection with Lions. The requirement is to provide a suite of public art sculptures and playful features on the theme of "A Pride of Lions" for Huddersfield Town Centre. Please let any relevant artists know about this brilliant opportunity.
