9th March, 6 - 7:15 pm, Seven Live presents Paul
McGladdery. Emerging onto the folk scene in 2015 as
half of duo ‘Wilson McGladdery’, Paul is known for his prolific
scribbling. As well as songwriting, there are limericks, poetry and

Also, on Wednesday 9th
March, 7.30pm, the monthly outing for The Discount Comedy Checkout. Prepare yourself for a night of
hilarious improvised comedy - no show is the same and is created by
you, the audience! "This doesn’t mean we hound you – it’s
literally join in if you want to." £10.
On Thursday 10th
March, 7.30pm, Arts at the Arms @ Seven.
Following a sellout run of dates in September, and a Covid- cancelled
show in December, Arts at the Arms returns to Seven with a fresh dose
of Yorkshire talent. Bringing their trademark mix of theatre, comedy,
poetry and music from local creatives showcasing original work. £10.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, look forward to Nubian Noire – International Women’s Day 2022
on Friday11th
March, 5:30 - 9pm. Nubian Noire invites you for an
inspiring, thought-provoking evening with great guest women speakers,
live performances, master saxophonist and buffet. £5.
The long-awaited return of Flamenco de Leeds – Live
Flamenco on Satuirday
12th March, doors 7.30pm. Join us for an evening of
passionate, exciting and awe-inspiring Flamenco with the wonderful
Natalia Garcia-Huidobro, Alejandro Pais and Tomas Aguilera. £20.
On Sunday 13th March,
1:30 -4pm, JazzLeeds – Arun Ghosh Quartet. Arun
Ghosh is an exceptional clarinettist and composer whose style
incorporates jazz; Indian and western classical; folk; hip-hop; rock
and experimental sounds.
£10 full / £8 conc /Under 25s £5.
Also, this and every
Sunday at 7pm, the
Sunday Quiz, is
a great way to end the weekend with friends and family. £5 per team, with prizes.
And, don't forget, Seven has teamed up with Canteen, Wednesday- Sunday, for
this month in house at Seven so your favourite pizzas can be ordered to
eat in, or take away.
