Your Novel: What Next? Attend our Discoveries webinar

 

 

Thank you for entering Discoveries 2022! Our expert readers – representatives from across the publishing industry – have been reading through entries and have been blown away by your talent and ideas. The longlist of 16 writers, decided by our brilliant panel of judges, will be announced in early May. In the meantime, we're delighted to invite all entrants to attend our Your Novel: What Next? webinar on Thurs 7 April, 7.00pm-8.30pm.

This online event will be chaired by acclaimed author and Discoveries 2022 judge Irenosen Okojie, who will be joined by a panel of expert speakers: Anna Davis (Curtis Brown Creative's founder and Discoveries 2022 judge), Viola Hayden (Curtis Brown literary agent), Sara Adams (Editorial Director at Hodder Studio) and Alice Murphy-Pyle (Head of Marketing at HarperNorth). The panel will offer advice on what to do now you’ve written and submitted your opening 10,000 words, and have a discussion on how to submit to agents as well as the publishing process.

We're inviting webinar attendees to submit one question to the speakers ahead of time. We'll curate the most frequently asked and interesting questions to put forward to the panel.
