What's coming up for children, families and young people       From toddlers to university students, be inspired by music and the arts this spring and beyond with activities, ensembles and more. Interactive workshops, family films, after school activities, and immersive training programmes, there’s a whole host of opportunities to get involved.     For families...     Mmm Ahh Whoosh Sun 6 Mar, 11.30am & 2pm   A brand-new jazz-inspired gig for 0–5-year olds which will immerse you in a swirling world of colour and take you on a musical journey through afro-centric soulful folk and scat.    "I couldn’t stop smiling the whole way through.” - Audience member      Little ONes Weekly from 11 Mar, 10.15am / 11.30am   Bring your Little ONes to explore the wonderful world of opera, in sessions designed especially for your babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Expect a whole range of multi-sensory magic; music, singing, dancing, craft, storytelling and more.       FILM: Sing + Workshop Sun 10 Apr, from 2pm   Dapper koala Buster Moon's ambitions are crumbling...he takes one final chance to restore his beloved theatre to its former glory, by producing the world’s greatest singing competition. Join us before the screening for an interactive movement and singing workshop.     Carnival of the Animals Thu 14 Apr, 11.30am & 1.30pm   What sound does an elephant make? Or a tortoise? Or a kangaroo? Join players from the Orchestra of Opera North for this relaxed concert for young children and their families. Moving around and responding naturally to the music is actively encouraged!       For young people...   Do you know someone who loves to SING, PERFORM or PLAY a musical instrument?
