With thanks to Country and Townhouse here are five things not to miss in London this week:
|
I don’t know if this is peculiar to where I live in West London but
many houses still have their festive lights (put up originally back in
November) twinkling round trees and hedges of an evening. Is that now a
thing? Have the 12 days of Christmas been so utterly forgotten? This
stretching of once seasonal activity seems a shame. I’m more into the ebb
and flow of a year and how we humans mark it, so take down the lights and
pack them away till winter – the blossom is now here and with it the hope
of spring and renewal.
Have
a great week.

WHAT’S
EXCITING ME THIS WEEK
|
|
|
RIDING
HIGH
Whether you were at Cheltenham last week or not, it’s hard to escape the
rise of the female jockeys who are now, in many cases, outpacing their male
competitors. If I were a betting woman, I know who I’d be backing. Read
more here.

A NEW
LIPSTICK
A slash of Mac’s Ruby Woo is my one rare concession to wearing makeup. A
red lip says so much, so I’m go bold, or go bare (with a neutral gloss).
You may think differently of course – either way Nathalie Eleni has some great
lip picks here..
