Art Institutions Now
Art lovers can browse through poetry collections, paintings, and live performances thanks to these virtual installations from NYC to LA. These museums and galleries, such as the Whitney Museum of American Art and others are offering different content on their websites.
Now is a perfect time to view new works from the comfort of your home and get your essential fix of creativity, thanks to participating museums.
Silver Lining
The numerous food vendors that have become part of NYC's terrain have been hard to spot due to COVID-19.
Recently, food carts excited to serve hungry stomachs were open for business. Thousands of protesters grabbed food on their way to Washington Square Park to continue to raise awareness against police brutality.
Forging Bridges
New York's Pride parade has been central to visibility and the LGTBQA+ movement since 1970. Due to coronavirus concerns, it's cancellation this year has been met with disappointment and frustration.
To celebrate the Pride parade's 50th anniversary, human rights activists will gear up to show their support for the Black Lives Matter movement.
