How are you doing? Hopefully this sunny weather is lifting your spirits. Have you had the chance to get out on an Aliens Love Underpants #Storyw@lk ? Perhaps you've spotted some of the creations above or made your own. The Storywalk section of our website has more ideas on how you can get involved.  #storywalksfromhome.
Maybe you've curled up in the sun (or shade!) and shared a good book together. What do you like to do...read the same book together..maybe read aloud or take it in turns, or you read your book and they read their's? Never be afraid to pick up a children's book for yourself...some cracking stories out there...why should the kids have all the fun?! Alternatively, check out our weekly Friday newsletter "Read Kirklees" for some grown-up booky-things!
Don't forget that whilst we are not able to meet you in our physical buildings at present, we are here to help online. A hidden gem of a website here, with lots of information and history about many different aspects of the Huddersfield music scene. Although the live section will now be somewhat delayed, it is wonderful to get a taste of what goes on in this vibrant town and what we can look forward to in the future.
Head over to the "All Join In" section of the website to watch multicultural families all join in with "Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" in a variety of languages! Filmed in Kirklees Libraries this Spring, there is a complillation film of all the languages then you can click on the song below to watch in the language of your choice: English and Makaton, Urdu, Punjabi, Shina, German, Polish, Chinese, Spanish and Hungarian. Come on everyone..."Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, knees and toes. Heads, Shoulders..." You know you want to!
